Membership of the VPTA

Any Victorian incorporated public tenants group/group of public tenants with a statement of purpose or an individual public tenant who are/is willing to comply with the Association's aims and objectives and the Association's Code of Conduct may register as a member of the Association.

Associate membership is available to any group or individual who support the organisation's aims and objectives. Associate members do not have voting rights.

All members are invited to attend General Meetings which are held 3 times per year. The purpose of these meetings is for the Committee of Management to report on the activities of the organisation and for members to raise any particular issues or concerns they may have. One General Meeting per year is held in a rural area. An annual Planning Meeting is held to which all members are invited. Our Annual General Meeting is usually held in September.

Members are reimbursed the cost of travel to attend General Meetings or training. Please contact the office for more information.
